A Celebration of Beaujolais Nouveau and The Gamay Grape
Beaujolais Nouveau Day is usually celebrated with fireworks, music and festivals. Under French law, the wine is released at 12:01am, just weeks after the grapes have been harvested. Parties are held throughout France and further afield to celebrate the first wine of the season. While we cannot manage fireworks, on Thursday 17th November we will be cracking open bottles of this years fresh & fruity Beaujolais Nouveau, straight from the heart of the Rhône-Alpes region in east-central France. This is a relaxed evening to enjoy amongst friends and the chance to taste this year's vintage. We will also be serving up some tasty French morsels for you to enjoy with your wine. Garlic, berets and moustaches optional. Santé!
